The Borno state collation agent for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 presidential election, Nicholas Msheliza, at the presidential election petition tribunal said all the result sheets from the various local governments in the state were mutilated.
The Nation reports that Msheliza who made this known on Thursday, July 11, also said almost all the sheets in the 200 polling units in his local government were wrongly calculated, adding that the results were cancelled in PDP’s strongholds’
John Beza Makama who was the local government collation agent in Sanga local government area of Kaduna state, testified results in areas considered PDP strongholds “were unlawfully cancelled because the petitioner scored higher votes than the respondents.”
Makama said the cancellation took place at the local government collation centre after many voters had celebrated the results announced at the polling units and ward levels.
According to him, “I voted in Bagol and there are 131 polling units. And of the 11 wards in Sanga local government Area, APC is dominant in only three.”
